    Chicago Bulls

Any of you guys been watching Rose and the crew? They are fun to watch! Rose is hitting his stride this year. You get to see Noah from Florida and Bogens from UK play as well.

Derrick Rose is ALL THAT. Yes I like to watch them and they are a force to be reckoned with. Rose is the next Kobe if not now, the guy can flat get it done. They foul the snot out of him and they still can't stop him. I watched the Magic the other day take some real cheap shots on the guy and he still made them pay.

Rose is the real deal but for some reason I don't think this is the Bulls year. In a 7 game series it only takes a couple sub-par efforts from Rose and the Bulls are done. I think the Bulls need one more piece to the puzzle. Celtics messed up when they traded Perkins, Magic are too up and down plus Howard may not make it a whole series without getting enough technicals and suspended a game. That leaves you know who, not because of Lebron but because Wade is that good, I think the Heat win the Eastern Conference.

San Antinio are old and injury prone, Lakers MUST have a healthy Bynum, good luck with that, Dallas never gets the job done, which leaves the team that NOBODY wants to play Oklahoma City Thunder. Durant just won the scoring title for the second year in a row, Westbrook is an outstanding point guard and the Celtics loss is the Thunders gain in the inside presence of Kendrick Perkins. OKC is too young to know they should not win the West but too good not to. I see an OKC / Heat finals as hate to say it but the "Heatles" get the job done. As much as I don't want to see it for the way James thought he was bigger than the game when he "took his talents to South Beach".

I pull for the Magic in the East but I see the Celtics going to the finals. Actually anyone but the Heat!
In the West I had the Lakers until Bynums injury. Thunder is as good a pic as any and they are fun as hell to watch.

I am with you for anyone but the Heat. I like D-Wade, even though he put up a triple double (I think) against my beloved Cats in the NCAA. Never liked Bosh, over-rated if you ask me, and James deserves nothing - not for heading to South Beach but for the whole fiasco. The Celtics will be WISHING they had Kendrick Perkins if they meet the Magic.

Why was what Lebron did so bad?? He left a situation for a better one. I think the media made it worse than it was! D-Wade is my favorite player BTW!

I didnt like the heat anyway. Being a magic fan there us a history between the teams with players and trash talk. James just added to the dislike. I'm going on memory here but didn't James leave the cavs high and dry? He could have left them with some bargaining chips for some replacement players but just left his hometown fans in the still if the night. Like I said this is memory not fact??? I can look it up later or someone will have the facts.

I present all the facts you really need:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvgD9HNTMkM

My buddy at work is the biggest Cleveland Indians / Cleveland Cavaliers fan in the World....grew up there....is Cleveland to the bone. All you have to do is say the word "Lebron" and he looks as if he wants to murder a midget.

I had the pleasure of seeing one of his last games at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. He was fun to watch and the whole city held their breath on his every word, move, action. There was a complete and total love affair with the guy. Then, he ditched them for South Beach, in a big hullabaloo on national TV, where the "dream team" was assembled via big bucks and Miami.

One of my favorite quotes after, was from Michael Jordon:
"There's no way, with hindsight, I would've ever called up Larry [Bird], called up Magic [Johnson] and said, 'Hey, look, let's get together and play on one team.' In all honesty, I was trying to beat those guys."

While I believe that the decision was absolutely his to make and he's a businessperson getting paid for his talents/allure....I still think he did it in a complete douche-bag kind of way. It's one of the reasons why my complete insanity over college athletics ends as soon as they sign with the pros.

I don't care for the NBA....really not a fan of the NFL....and will occasionally watch MLB, but they really did a number on me back during the strike years ago.

    College Sports, baby.

The only good thing Lebron did was to donate all of the proceeds from his one hour "heading to south beach" show to a charity....brought in millions and millions for charity....As loved as he was in Cleveland, he didn't do anything any different than any other free agent who has left for another team other than the idiotic "decision" show.....If he would have simply made his decision without the show I would have had no problem with him

I agree....I'm not much on the NBA either. The style of play is what gets me the most. The problem is it is slipping into the college game also, because the one and doner's want a trial run for the next year! I disagree about the NFL...I love watching it.....even teams I don't necessarily rout for. The lock-out ***** and they need to find a middle road to meet on!

Only problem is he wasnt any other player. He was put in the league of Jordan, Bird, Magic, Kobe and other super stars. He was a home grown Ohio high school player. It was different than others and he was loved as one of their own and your right the show was an excersize in marketing which the dude is great at. Heck now look at his furniture ads!
In the end it's prolly his best move to get some championships but if the Heat can't win one in a few years he will go somewhere else.
