Uh, the Corporation does, who else? Here's a quote from their website: "The Kentucky Derby Festival, Inc., is a private, not-for-profit corporation served by a professional staff of 22 and governed by a 75-volunteer board."

Stop with the facts RT, you will give Mills a headache. He still thinks his money pays for college basketball players scholarships despite the fact that none of it is true.

PSP, I think you only mentioned it once and then when I told you how athletic scholarships were funded you understood. Mills is convinced all his tax money funds the city of Louisville and the University of Louisville, both are places he despises, yet we can't get him back across the river where he belongs!

Mark, I don't think prowler was implying that at all.

Wrong answer folks...I got the word from the Horses mouth themselves.....Our tax money does help pay for the expenses of the University...Found this info out while getting Info about funding the College expenses for my sons...In case they don't get a full ride.....If you don't believe me, contact the Office of Adminstrations at U of L and UK.....

P.S. You all don't worry, just as soon as the wife retire's....I'll be leaving this god forsaken State and Jefferson County especially.....

I see how it works. I'll store that one in my hip pocket and then unleash a fury upon thee when the time is right. Will it be football season, or will it be basketball season? Or could I do the unthinkable and drop it during a women's lacrosse thread? You can begin losing sleep now........

I do fall in line with most of what RoadToad posts. Perhaps it's because we are both in the healthcare field. He usually does allow facts to get in the way of an argument!
