Looks like I'm taking my first trip to Nolin friday regardless of all the high water. It will probably be my only trip to take there but a customer of mine has asked me to. I want to show him a good time but personally I don't expect much. I was curious about how the lake fishes. Do you need to be back in the creeks or can you catch them in main lake pockets/mouths of creeks? Would like to catch crappie but with the water moving so much and being muddy my guess is they won't bite so probably going for bass.
His house is across the main lake from Dog Creek so thought I would try there or Rock Creek. Thanks for any advice. Taking a small boat so don't want to run all over the lake looking for fish. Also, if I'm coming from Leitchfield is there a place to get minnows?
With all the rain probably going to be VERY muddy but can't catch them at home
Thanks
