We live in Valley Station and got lucky...the lights didn't even flicker. Lots of lightning, lots of wind gusts, some rain....but the power stayed on. I think Indiana got it worst than we did and folks in Highview/Hillview and Bullitt County might have got it worst than us. This is judging from the band of storms that I saw on the stinkin' television around 12:30 am.

Woke up at 2:00am by computer room operators...worked the rest of the night on power related network/IP telephony equipment failures at a 900 person satellite office.

Long night, but all the bit twiddlers and bean counters are sailing along over there today.

We had some straightline wind damage and flooding in Northern Ky.
I had a big Chestnut Oak and Green Ash down in the driveway this morning.
At the I-75 Rest Area between Richwood and Florence,3 Semi's were blown over and trees knocked down with several homes damaged.
Some people claimed to see a tornado touchdown,but the NWS says it was straightline winds.

Got lucky out here in Sheeptwon. The worst of it stayed north of us.

Had one major limb down and a BUNCH of small ones. Also had one limb bust a small hole in my Vinyl siding. I caulked it and said the heck with it, lol.
