Yeah those fish are kinda small huh? Man, go to BPS and see their tank. Get there late morning so you and the kids can see the fish get fed. Maybe call ahead to find out what time the feeding is? It's pretty amazing to watch.

Took the kids over to visit the Hawg tank on its stop at Lexington Northpark this evening. I don't catch many bass fishing from the bank as i do but if those in that tank are classed as hawgs I've been catching me some too!
The biggest bass in there was about 15" long and maybe a pound and a half. The catfish was a decent length for being in the tank though.
The guy manning the tank was willing to throw a lure in for us to show how it runs and different ways of using it. He chose a Strike King Redeye Shad. It was neat to see the different ways he could manipulate the lure in the clear water. No bites, most of the fish looked really lethargic although one did give the lure a chase for about 4-5 feet.
Interesting for the kids to see.

Where is the nearest BPS?

Not sure which is closer to us but Cincy has one and then across the river from L-ville. Both have had some monster fish in them and it's wild to see them eat!
