Second the spinnerbait. I like a red or black spinnerbait, lightest I can get away with, with big Colorado blades for maximum vibration, dipped in some sort of attractant.

Me to boys I've always loved my spinnerbugs in that dirty water. Big Hammered Colorado blades. Slightly muddy to fairly stained, Chartruese. Very muddy go with blacks, reds and dark colors. Also like painted blades in real muddy water to.
Also the black and blue jig crawled slowly with a rattle...
red color baits
Cold and muddy? uggg
Black n blue jig, colorado spinner bait, dark square bills, flippin bait that is bulky with appendages, and ol' buzzzzzzzz.
spinnerbaits with colorado blades and Berkley powerworms 7" in Electric blue with bright pink tail.
Rattle trap and burn it,off points in thin water........![]()
So far I have a chartreuse double willow leaf spinnerbait, black jig, with black/blue trailer and rattle, black metal flake rattle trap, black buzz bait, black/blue brush hog, and a black/yellow shallow running crankbait tied on. I plan on giving the jig and the spinnerbait most of the time tommorrow. Worse thing that can happen is we dont catch anything. I have done that several times when the water was perfect.
My new muddy water baits are strike king 1.5 in sexy Shad and a green pumpkin shakey worm. The colors go against everything that I have ever heard but I won a tournament with 17 pounds a couple weeks ago using these in muddy water.
