If you want to fish Bluegrass Pit you will have to have a canoe or other portable boat and use the North Gravel Launch ramp. Even there the parking lot is partially underwater. The Bluegrass Pit South Ramp was open yesterday and the parking lot was dry but the road leading to the parking lot was flooded over with about 1 ft of water over Boonville New Harmony Road to the East and it was about 6" over the road to the West.
Loon pits parking lots (both ends) are flooded and unusable right now.
Otter Pit is completley flooded and I would think that Euler road is nearly flooded as well. I don't know for sure as I didn't check it out yesterday. I did check out all the other areas.
You can still launch and access Bird Dog pit and the other pits on higher ground using Boonville New Harmony Road to County Line Road. Take County Line Road North to Base line. Take Baseline Rd East to St Johns and take St John's road south back to Boonville New Harmony road to get around the flooded portions of Boonville New Harmony Road but the parking lot at Bluegrass Pit and Loon pits North Parking lot.
Head East when you get back onto Boonville New Harmony Road off St John's Road. Other smaller pits off St Johns Road and Church Rd may be fishable as well. And the Pits on the North End of Stevenson Station road are probably fishable as well since they are all out of the Bluegrass Creek and Pigeon Creek Flood plain.
This is what it looked like Yesterday afternoon at the entrance to Bluegrass Pit looking East from I 164 exit.
