can u put in at cutright? thank you..i know it is high, have bfl sat, will it be called off? thx.rbass
I can't imagine they will call it off.....but cutright might be in question. By Sat. the water may be 15-16 ft. high and most likely muddy!!!!! If I hear anything I'll let you know. Did any of you BFL guys hear that they outlawed jet boats for this year??? Why???
talked to the tourney director today, they have moved the tourney to payneton ramp or what ever its called. fishing will prob. ****.
It will be feast or famine. When its high like this you either find em or you don't!
isnt that how it is always.? either on fish or not? just checked level ,552.57 and rising. that is crazy to have tornament, will someone set the record st8. and second my motion to cancel
tyvm
i second that. I really dont wanna fish it, but i will if its on but i would prefer not to.
Well.....yes and no. What I meant was that the fish spread way out and are harder to pinpoint when the water is high. A couple of years ago when it got this high I got into them really good a few times, then the water level would change and they would move. TX Results showed that guys got on good ones, or didn't get on much at all. But yes, overall you are correct. This high water just makes finding them more challenging, and the results are varied more greatly.
I thought it has been banned for several years now. They claimed unfair advantages.
If you're in Cutright area, remember where the docks are and don't run over it. I think it would be awesome if it stop raining and the water is still high.
Isn't it also an unfair advantage for a guy going all the way down to the dam to have a 250 hp outboard that will run 70mph, when a jet will only run half that speed??? Not arguing here, I am one of the guys that runs a 250......just sayin. The lake can be very good when its this high, if its not too muddy.
It's not just BFL. FLW Tour, Series, Opens. I think (not sure really) the Federation still allows it.
Oh...the only reason I know is because a good friend of mine was going to fish the BFL on Monroe this weekend, only to find out about the new rule. He said this is the first year for it here. I don't have a dog in the fight, but I think they should be allowed to use them. I wonder what their thinking is.....why is it that much of an advantage to outlaw them? Didn't Mark Menendez use one last year to win an Elite Series event in BASS?
BASS doesn't care. It's an FLW thing.
