Try the Mony Minnows on a expose lead head, 1/4 oz is just about perfect. When storing them don't allow the tails to become crunched up it screws up the action. The cheap Lucky Strike ones run good, try those.

I like the 4" Top Shelf swimbait in light hitch.
I like the Zoom swimming fluke version. It's a little cheaper and looks different than most.
I have used and own many others but this one is subtle in very shallow clear water.
