Guess I should have looked it up myself instead of trusting something I read in the local Edmonson Co. newspaper.
Movin on up, now at 549.0 ft this A.M.
Came up 1.9 ft since yesterday, so it looks like there will be a new record set sometime today/tomorrow and with more rain coming in it's no telling how high it's gonna get if they don't open up the gates.
Now at 551 ft a new pool record and still rising about a foot every 24 hrs.
Is the top of the dam really at 560 ft because that's what the article in the local Edmonson newspaper said and they were wrong about the old record pool level.
Spillway is 560....it will/would be tough for any of these lakes to get over the dam becasue the spillways are designed not to let that happen
Okay thanks.
They have that cut back/out there by the dam so I did't think it would get over the dam, just sitting here looking at my 8 ft celing and trying to imagine the water level even being that close to the top of it.
Gonna have to head up there and see it before they start dropping it. Got to see the tailwaters when they were flooded last year and thouht I would never see anything that compared to that but this might just do it.
Here's some pics of the flooded tailwaters I took last year and posted on the photo board in case anyone didn't see them.

Check out this link, click the photos link in the first paragraph and you can visit recent photos of the lake.
The lake has increased at least a foot since these pictures were posted!

Man this is crazy,,I`m sitting up here in Wi can they lakes here are 6 inches over and they calling it flooding, these guys have no clue..
That's crazy. I never thought I'd see the day where you could actually fish from the motel!!
Me either.
If I had to guess I would say the water is now proabably right at the base of the motel because you can add another 5-7 ft of water to when those phots were taken since the lake is now at a 555.6 ft pool level and it was 549 ft or so then.
The 555.6 ft pool level puts the lake at 40.6 ft above summer pool.
The lake is gonna be a mess for a long, long time. Can you imagine how much debri is going to be left behind when they finally do get the lake down. Whew!!!!!
The wife goes over dog creek to come home from work and she said that the water is about 2 feet from going over hwy 1015.
