The only grass I know of is the lawns that are currently flooded. There was a little grass a few years ago after the droubt, but that was short lived. Barren water level fluctuates too much too sustain grass growth.

I was just reading an old fishing article about fishing grass in Barren, on the main lake, I fish Barren about 3-4 times a year and have not ever seen much grass only some small weedy stuff around a dock or two, I was just wondering what type of grass is in the lake and were it is, any info would be helpful, Thanks.

The article was serval yrs old, thanks for the info
They drop it down 25 foot in winter and as of the last two years it gets about 25 foot over summer pool. A 50 foot swing in water levels is not overly condusive to grass growing.
Lots of grass on the golf course right now...

There is a hayfield on the opposite side of Peter creek from the golf course that might be underwater too.
