Went to my camp at Nolin today ,to cut grass.I cannot believe how high the lake is !!
At Wax the water is almost all the way up the hill . Of course the ramp is closed .
My neighbor down there told me the Bass were on the nest before the lake went up that high.So the beds will be in 25-30 ft of water now! Do you folks think we will have a successful spawn this year for largemouth? Can the eggs survive in that deep of water ? Or will the water pressure kill the eggs ?
I cant remember the lake ever be that high .The campground at WAX is under water .The building where you pay for your campsite is under water .The bridge that goes over the lake on 88 is only about 3 or 4 ft over the surface .It is usually a 40 ft drop to the water !!
I bet it wont be to summer pool until late May !
