    Cumberland.....WOW

Lake is over 720 and still climbing. The Corp has told the marina's to look for 727 by the 5th which is Thursday. I was gonna try to sneak down this week, but unless I wanna just the trolling motor it may a waste of time. I'm hearing the debris fields are getting outrageous this morning and getting worse by the hour. I looked at the web cams and the center part of Jamestown is COMPLETLY locked in, a person couldn't get a boat out of there if they had to, check it out it's hard to believe how bad it is.

Oh well, thanks Mother nature you have managed to completely RUIN my spring fishing. Maybe I should just go down and walk and bank fish the river since they aren't letting any water go.

Mark, You know that Jamestown and Conley are not the only areas of the lake to fish. I would stay away from the main lake but there are plenty of creeks to fish.

Oh I know Dave, I usually lauch at Halcombs anyway, but man it's came up anothe foot since 5am this morning and almost 722 right now. Them fish have got to be freaking out, I'm thinking a waste of gas money right now. If I do come I'll chainsaw my way over to Indian and fish my usual haunts I guess. Hell I might be launching in downtown Jamestown by Thursday, lol.

Sounds like you could walk across the lake there with all that timber covering the surface.

Fished out of Jamestown Marina Saturday and Saturday night. Ran all the way to Indian and Beaver creek after dark without too much of a problem. However, when we came back into the Marina at about 2:30 am I didn't think i'd make it back to the ramp.
The whole marina was covered with trees ( not logs ). It was like the Marina was a giant magnet and the floating wood was made of steel. Been fishing there for 30 years and never seen it that bad. Floating wood started getting bad just past marina in Beaver creek too.

Yea and I'm hearing it's getting worse by the hour.
