Just got an email for Phil Moffet (TEA Party) for governor. Heard a radio ad for him the other day too.
Opinions?

Don't know a thing about him but there was a trailer with alot of Moffet for Governor stuff on it and in it broke down close to my house yesterday. That's the first I ever heard of him.![]()
I would cut off my left...well never mind. What I am getting at is that I will never vote for David Williams. Cannot stand the hypocritical goon. I can almost promise that he is taking money from casino's in Indiana to keep them from coming here.
yeah he opposes gambling, but filed the losses from gambling on his federal form. His running mate is against taxes, so he didn't pay any on his vechicles for what 6 yrs? Yep strange place this kentucky, but I cant complain, I chose to move here.
Don't know who I am voting for yet but, wait till Jerry gets there and you will see how messed up this state can get.
I'll be casting my vote for an old friend, David Williams. He follows his constituents wishes even if he disagrees.
I'm happy that besheared chose the bloomberg/anti-gun mayor for his running mate
as that will almost certainly deny him reelection.
David Williams follows the money, most notably the money he is probably recieving from Indiana casinos in order to keep HIS HOME STATE from opening casinos here.
David Williams is as crooked as Ky Hwy 90 from Glassgow to Burkesville!
I'm reading this and about to fall out of my chair laughing at your complaints with how bad it is in Kentucky but then I'm from Illinois and I can recognize bad government when I see it.
Beep Beep
That's how I feel.
I'm not a fan at all of voting Democrat, but in this case I think Beshear needs to keep on chugging in another term. I'm hoping that with Abramson now at his side, the whole city of Louisville will be backing them.
Williams is not the right guy - his stand on gambling just baffles me. How could it be a losing proposition for KY? KY is losing money to Indiana right now. Drive around in the Horseshoe Casino parking lot and look at the license plates for crying out loud! That's money that should stay in our own state of KY! The highways, bridges, and the newly finished hospital in Harrison Co. IN were all built by KY gamblers. Plus, Churchill Downs is KY's crown jewel, and we should be helping it maintain it's world renowned status instead of holding it back.....other horse tracks in other states with casinos on site are offering larger purses for their horse racing during regular meets, and causing horses to pull out of Churchill and KY all together. How long will we set aside and watch money just walk right out of the state?!?!
That's the cold hard truth right there.Churchill Downs is KY's crown jewel, and we should be helping it maintain it's world renowned status instead of holding it back.....other horse tracks in other states with casinos on site are offering larger purses for their horse racing during regular meets, and causing horses to pull out of Churchill and KY all together.
I've seen all the tables at a quick stop here in Ky filled with folks playing scratch offs. Is that gambling?
