Hey I feel sorry for the poor small farmers amywhere. BUT the big ones and the conglomerates are living off of us.I have in laws who lease out their land for cotton farming. They dont do the work, they dont hire the illegals to gin it, but every year they get a check from the govermnent. This has been family property for over 100 years. The originals worked their a--es off and made a living, but then came government programs to aide farmers, and there is never any talk about cutting it, except for tobbacco. Years ago when the other countrys started dumping steel on our markets, who opposed sanctions? rural america, it would hurt our exports of commodities, so how come so much of our food nis now imported??They always find something to cry about.
