Oil is down 12 percent for the week...........I WONDER

regular is $4.19 in Danville ,il this morning Diesel is $4.05. I had a guy standing in line to pay for his gas say I just quit buying anything at the station cept gas. They make enough off of me as it is. The guy behind the counter say they don't care they will quit ordering from the supplier which happens to be 10 miles from where we were standing. he says then they can lay off more workers there and the price of gas will go up to compensate for the loss in coffe,candy, etc......vicious ol world out here

Some smaller stations actually LOSE money on gasoline.......they make it up with all the other sales.

Any mom and pop service station owners care to chime in??

I am not the owner but a good friend of mine owns a BP station off of I-65 and he has told me he makes something ridiculously low off of gas sales. It seems like it was less than a nickle for gallon.
