From what I've seen/heard/saw on the water lately, you going to catch a lot of trash and wood. Still, they were trying to come up and spawn; Never know. ?? Position your boat bout mid lake and cast to spawning shad on the wood?????He..Haw...!!
For me, be about another week or two before I put into the lake. Sure there are others on the board with more recent information on night bite and water conditions.
It's been painfully slow for most folks. Some small short fish being caught and a few walleye and that's been about it. Not much bait up at all, in fact it's been down right hard to find for most people.
Trash is getting real bad now because they are now pulling her pretty hard bring it all out to play. Water cooled from mid and upper 60's to upper 50's in spots but is trying to rebound some with this sun shining. They are calling for near 90 tomorrow and Wednesday, that might get something going, maybe????
Going down Thur. and fish Thur/Fri/Sat nights. I know the lake is bad but only time I have to go. Hope water warms and I can find the bait. Can anyone tell me if midway up the creeks may work.
