cave run

whats up all...thinking about going to cave run tomorrow, haven't been down that way for awhile...anybody know the lake conditions or which ramps are open...thanks for any help

Lake is 28ft. above summer pool with good water clarity. Fish are back in the trees and they are hard to get to. Water temp Sunday afernoon was 65. You can put in at scotts creek or alfrey boat ramp but you have to pull up on the ramp to pick up your partner. Good luck let me know how it goes!

had a decent day yesterday...caught some quality fish in the bushes/trees but you had to really work for em...with them pulling water a little everyday lake might be back to normal by July lol...it was really hot and I've never seen so many yellow jackets, wasps, snakes, etc around the boat but all in all a good trip

What were you using? I fished the other day and blanked out with deep cranks. Then the next day caught a few non keepers pitching a jig and one on a wacky senko.

mainly a spinnerbait...fished again there yesterday and conditions had completely changed with the cold front and rain...didn't do nearly as good but talked to a few guys who caught some good ones
