Barren River Lake

I have never fished barren and i hear its a good lake. I aint trying to take anyones spots but could someone give me some pointers on what to fish with or where to find some largemouth. I would be appreciate it.

With them pullin the bottom out of it, it will be quite a challenge. I find on this lake they will pull out and suspend off the main lake points whne the start drawin it down this hard. Try graphin fish... if they are suspending like i think, then a suspending jerkl bait is the ticket.

If they pull as hard as they did last year, they will get stacked up on points. I mean stacked. Key will be fishing close to the original shore line.

Had really good luck a couple days ago when they were pulling it hard flipping submerged trees in 10-15ft of water with plastics.

Thanks for everyones advice.... First time up there caught my limit and had over 15 poumds.... Shoulda had more... Lost one over 5 at the boat. But we have all been there.

I'm fishing a small work tournament there on June 11th about 25 boats and may need a partner. Don't know if my regular partner is going to make it yet. I'll find out in the next day or so.

Any reports of a good hybrid bite yet, or is it too early for that?

The hybrid bite has been going since the flood. It is getting later and later in the day though. 2 weeks ago it was good about 1 hour before dark. I would say its an after dark bite now.
