A buddy and me are heading to taylorsville next wednesday. If we can't find a boat, we are gonna hit the tailwaters. What's some good techniques and bait to use for everything in there? Hybrids, crappy, cats anything?

Use white popeye jigs and catch come of the skip jack in there. then cut em up and catch fish all day.

White popeye jig huh? Thanks for the tip. They sell those at Walmart or anywhere close? I was also hoping that I could net some of those shad in there, and freeze them for a rainy day. What kinds of fish are in those tailwaters anyway?
