Well they don't have sage brush, but there are plenty of rattlesnakes in the smokies and they even hang out in trees.Guy on Little River outfitters had a pic of one hanging from a rhodendron. When I saw that picture I thought to myself "nice, now I have to not only watch the rocks, but I have to look at the trees as well!"
