Welome to the board and thank you for your service. Don't forget about the big O ,its close and might not be a tremendous bass fishery but if you like the thrill of catching big fish you can't go wrong with all the different spiecies. I love my big cats but also enjoyed fishing out in CA. for salmon where the American and the Sacrimento rivers meet, not to mention the trout that live in some of the ditches and the huge bass that I got into out in some farm ponds when I was there.
