Thanks for the report...did you notice any surface activity?Fished Nolin today. Had some luck in 12' to 15' of water. White spinnerbait and 20' crankbait. Caught 3 bass with largest 2lbs, miss 4-5lbs at the boat. They were hanging around stumps off point. Thought I could have caught some more but I got tired of fighting the waves.

I was at nolin this weekend and seen no top water activity. But it shouldnt be long unless the high water somehow will change the jumps
I went mon. Fished from around 1:00 p.m. Til about 6:00, caught 3, lost 2 good ones. 2 of them came on a fat free shad, critus-shad, the other, and the 2 i lost came on a grn. Pumpkin peca craw. I was pitching it to the bushes. About 10-12 ft. Deep.
Talked to a warden, the corp. Is still pulling it about a foot a day, i'd say it's still around 15' to 18' over summer pool. Water temp. Is in the high 70's.... Tr
Fished Nolin Saturday noon till dark. Caught about 15, mostly spots, largest a 15" LM. Moved a lot between the dam & Moutrideer. Most acton on shakey head at rocky points down 12'-15'. Some action on Carolina Rigged varrious plastics. Cranked w/ an old grey/silver large shad rap and a medium sexy shad. Caught a few on all the above. Tried a jig with a big wom trailer and a craw trailer off bluff banks - not a bite. Even tossed some minnows around a few bushes, lots of small bass.
Didn't see any jumps, but can't wait.
Great reports guys...guess it's still a little early for the jumps. I know that I found the jumps around the first part of June last year, so hopefully they will start soon. I would imagine this hard pull is having an effect on them....once it stablizes, I'm sure they will start! Can't wait!
