Well just got back from 5 days in Ely. Man what a trip,,1st day we caught and released over 100 smallies,,back,arm and my hands hurt from catching and releaseing. Thumb all tore up from lippin them. This lake I go to is a great smallie lake,,gin clear,,wore them out on white flukes,brush hogs and white spinner baits. Watched Blad and Golden Eagles come and eat where they put the fish guts and all out across the bay. Smallie was starting to bed,,love bed fishing watching them hit it...

If anybody is coming up or whats to come up for a while,,wish theyed stop in here and say hi. I`m sitting on a top Musky lake in the area. But would love to take somebody back up there to enjoy the great fishing..
