I stopped by this lake to check er' out on my way into Bowling Green the other day. I have heard a mixed variety of stories varying from:

-It is fished out
-Its not a safe place to fish
-There are 3 lb Crappie
-2lb Bluegil
-Really bad fishing
-Really good fishing

Any how, I plan on getting out there Monday evening. Just wanted to know if anyone is doing good there and/or fishing techniques/bait recommendations. ( I will be fishing from the bank)

Any information would be greatly appreciated! I will report back and let you guys and gals know how it went regardless of the final results.

Every time i go there i have caught a bass,the biggest was 15inchs.A few years back the lake got a hole in it an drained.I havn't been this year.

-Its not a safe place to fish (no reason its not safe)
-There are 3 lb Crappie (nope, but lots of 8-10")
-2lb Bluegil (nope, but decent size)
-Really bad fishing (can be, yes)
-Really good fishing (in no way would I say it is good, lots of little bass)

Any how, I plan on getting out there Monday evening. Just wanted to know if anyone is doing good there and/or fishing techniques/bait recommendations. ( I will be fishing from the bank) (brushhogs T-Rigged along shoreline structure)
