boyd duckett 7' crankin rod. Worth the money or no? never used one and have been considering one. but my question is simply is it worth the money?
I love mine, it is light and sensitive. Also will cast further than a standard 7' med cranking rod. Only drawback that I have encountered is if you have to thread the line back thru the guides at night or low light.
It's by far the best crankin rod I've used and I have tried a bunch. I use mine for square bills and rattle traps. It has the perfect amount of tip and backbone for treble hooks.
What kind of money are we talking here?
DAVE
got mine shiped to the door for $184.00 7-11 crankin
love it !!!!!! best rod ive ever had for med to large crankbaits
it will really get them out there whiche keeps the bait in the strike zone longer WELL WORTH THE MONEY
if using say a bait like a dd-22 or lucky craft i do recomend the full cork grip over the split grip
dont know about the other style of rods but if they hit the nail on the head like they did the crankin rod they must be good also
alright guys thank you for the imput. do believe i'll be attempting to get one of them in my garage![]()
