    Boone that's a nice looking fly. Everyone ties that type of fly upside down at least a few times. It's part of the process. I remember being very proud of a crawdad imitation that I tied with great effort until I realized I tied it upside-down.

    That looks good Boone, I can't wait to field test them and then you can sell them in a catalog with the saying "These flies have been through extensive field testing by our staff of small stream fly rod anglers"

    Btw, the new fly also catches smallmouth, spots and rainbows after hitting Otter Creek for five hours today. I have fished Otter Creek literally hundreds of times and today was the first spotted bass I have caught from there. It was about 10 inches long, but was clearly a spotted bass.
