Going to fish one day this week. Any info for LM would be appreciated.
Main lake points and deeper banks. Down the road side has a rock ledge that bass will stack up on and get under some of the overhangs. I haven't been on Willisburg this year, so I'm not much help.
I tried in vain to find out about this lake but did see a ramp fee. How much is it?
Can you jug on it? How is the bluegill fishing? I'm debating here or Taylorsville this week.
Last time I went ramp fee was $5. Not sure if it is the same this year. No jugging(state law, lake not big enough). Most of the bluegill I have caught there have been on the small side.
Ramp fee is still $5.00.
I went to Taylorsville yesterday and was quite disappointed. It is still 10 feet high should be normal end of week pulling around 2 ft a day. I got a few small bite but caught NOTHING.....even had 8 jugs out didnt get anything......
the bite was slow saturday 4 me caught everything on a junebug shakey head only 2 keepers but a bunch a dinks i think crankbaits won the tx
i fish it all the time , the first finger on the left is in my opinion the best part of the lake. shallow to medium cranks in crawdad and silver/black back , t-rigged worm and jig has been the best option for me . usually star real shallow and work out deeper. its also full of decent sized channel cats and spend enough time out there and you might just find some nice slab crappie ! good luck
