    Great report. with all the little blegills around, just wonder if they wouldn't make pretty good bait for Stripers if just 15-20 foot behind a board with no weight.

    never pulled em on a board but the stripes will hit them on the bottom, caught alot of stripes fishing for flatheads, some nights more stripes thand cats lol

    my son uses small gills for stripes on lanier. Its not the prefered bait, but blue back herring are expensive and sometimes scarce.
