Can you elaborate "flipping secondary points"?thanksWent to Nolin yesterday....the shad are definitely out there in small groups...but it appears the bass have not grouped up yet. There were sparadic, single jumps here and there...but nothing that would be deemed "jumps" IMO. It should be starting ANY DAY!!! Water temps were 85 degrees and we caught a TON flipping along secondary points.

You guys have got me feeling like a little kid on christmas morning. I was hoping someone could tell me if you have to worry about spooking them with the motor. Obviously I wouldnt run right up on them, but how cautious do you need to be?
I had a tr20x triton with a 200 and i could see them while on plane & run right up too them and before i could stop i was castin at them.Seen the whole lake with shad & all the way from site too site boil and the start jumping crazy. This happen alot from State park too the dam from what i seen.I was flipin them in the boat before they know what happen.![]()
If you run up too close to a jump from what i have seen the shad and baitfish go down and move to another spot fairly close and start again.
