Back from my week on K.L. We stayed @ Cedar Knob and would highly recommend, if you can get in. It was full the entire time we were there, and has quite a loyal customer following. Though dated we found the accommodations immaculate. Very private and quiet area and the rates are very reasonable especially if you need to rent a boat. I never left the Jonathan Creek area as I found the fishing (LMB & Crappie) to be very good, used everything from top water to plastics to accomplish a successful fishing trip.
