Been reading that pickwick has had a lot of it starting to grow. Whats a good way to fish it?Am familiarf with cabbage and some other weeds[grass],used to fish a surface bait in open pockets of some weeds and buzz it, does this work on hydrilla?

Flip it where its matted up with 1/2 to 1oz pegged t-rigs, drag 10'' worms through it with lighter sinkers, weightless trick worms and flukes, crank the edges, spinnerbait through it, rat-l-trap it, throw frogs over it or anything else on top, rip a chatterbait....
Its hard to fish it wrong.
OK I rember that stuff,will need the stouter rods and 20lb braid,Now my son can eat crow,and watch that 8 lb mono break off. We fished it on lake burton in N georgia,Did pretty good too,
