Fished the trammel fork on Wednesday, just a day after it was stocked, the place was packed. I was fishing with flies and spinners on a fly rod. The majority of people there were slaying them with powerbaits. I'm certainly no fan of fishing powerbait, but I could only catch one trout with my arsenal of flies. Personally I think fishing with powerbait from the bridge turns it into bluegill fishing. Is there an effective way to catch trout with a fly/flyrod without using artificial rubber bait.
And another thing, Jennings creek in the middle of Bowling Green is stocked as plentifully and as periodically as the Trammel Fork, Unfortunately the access point on Glen Lily Road has steep banks and too many trees. Is there any other access point. Has any one fished it? Please help,
