New Personal Best Smallmouth (7lbs)

Well I got my new personal best SM on St. Clair today. It slurrped a Venom Tube. 22" 7lbs!!

I would have got it mounted, BUT Michigan has a season on sm that doesnt open until NEXT saturday.If I had kept her and gotten caught they would have fined me and taken the fish for evidence and I wasn't willing to risk it. So I let her go and I'm gonna get a replica made. I caught her on Lake St. Clair.

Very nice! How deep did you catch her?

She was only in about 8' hiding in some grass, of course up there the avg depth is only 11'. We caught most of em between 8-11'.
