    Any taylorsville lake reports?

    Anything in the last few days? With the lake getting pulled 2 foot a day how is the best way to approach the fishing.? Would you fish normal patterns for this time of year or does it change a bit with drooping the water fast?

    Fished the tourney Friday nite there were quite a few fish caught. Lake is very stained... Jim usually post the results from the tourney on here. Caught several fishing normal summer patterns. Hope this helps. Did I mention the lake is stained......

    Had an awesome day out there today. Started at 5 am and fished for an hour and a half with strike king 1.5 crank bait. Nothing! Switched to a half ounce excaliber one knocker. Chrome and black back. Did great in the shallows until about 11 where the bite slowed. Fished ten to twenty foot deep with a berkely gulp shaky head worm where the Niger bite happened. My buddy did the same thing but he switched between a jig and shaky head at the end. We each lost two at the boat at 5+. If you ask me how big they were next week they will now be 7 pounds. Just a little insight. Hope it helps a struggling fisherman.

    Had a pretty good day at Taylorsville yesterday. Won our clubs tournament. Had 3 keepers that went 6 lbs 8.8 oz. Caught a bunch of fish though and had a blast. Fish were caught on steeper banks with brush and rocks.

    On a side note, the pleasure boat traffic there is crazy. At one point I saw 4 runabouts in a row with the front one towing a skier. All I thought was "LORD have mercy!" LOL
