In the mid 90s bass pro had a special lure pack. It was a zarra spook, popR and rattle trap. What was special about it was that you ran the line through the lure, and tied on the back treble. They were all feathered trebles. On the zarra, whe you'd pause, the feathered treble would drift down, same with the popR, it would drive following fish nuts. The only one left is the popR, and it still wears fish out. There used to several lures like that, another one was the plucky minnow, made in france, it was a soft bodied crank bait, the rear trbble was tied to the main line, after passing through the bait. The rattle trrap was blue and chrome, northern pike just peeled all the paint off the thing. The zarra was lost on cumberland when what I thought was some spots feeding and tossed it to them, MISTAKE, 8 lb line wouldn't even slow that striper down.
