Left one day earlier than planned from pickwick, fished tuesday till noon, temp was 91 and the humidity was brutal, went back that evening and the son got into some bass action, as for me, my 75 yr old body just couldn't hack it. Got dehydrated, even after drinking two quarts of gator ade.After listening to the weather, we decised to hang it up. Last time I fished pickwick was early nov.Quite a change.All in all it was a nice trip, had some action, drank a few brewskis , and planned another foray later.
