I think Bluegill are the fighting-est fish out there as they don't stop until they're dead.
But for down right aggressive don't give a crap bout no-body, hard pulling, opening up a can on ya, take names kinda fish I have to say its a toss up between a Spot or Smallmouth

Hybrids are the only fish to ever cause my elbow to hurt the next day due to how hard they hit. And I've caught them all. We are talking fresh water of course..
