Just got back on Monday from a 4 day trip at Nolin. I had an extremely close call with the game warden. I was fishing with my buddy and our girlfriends just having a good time catching bluegill. Neither of the wardens said anything at all about my open beer can that was on the front of the boat right next to me way out in the open. It was very obvious and Im sure they look for those kinds of things. They did check for all safety components and fishing license, which I think is why they did not say anything since you could tell were good people and were just having a good time with the ladies. I was nervous as hell and I'll admit I got away with one there. I was just surprised they didnt at least make me pour it out.
Anyways, here are the results of our 4 day trip. Although I did not get a chance to go after the bass as much as I would have liked, they were biting when I did get a chance. We took the girls bluegill fishing twice and they were very aggressive. I could barely keep up baiting two ples with crickets. I have been fishing Nolin my whole life and have never caught bluegill this size there before. Had an absolute blast and after 2 days and about 4 hours of fishing, I got to fley 55 of them. They were all almost hand size or bigger. I also got 6 cats off of a trot line.
