I see I see, man that stuff can happen fast, especially in the dark. I wonder if he was using his GPS. Or maybe just thought he knew where he was....the lake shouldn't be drawn down...is it? Lucky he's okay.

He's fine. We spoke with his wife. Picked up his marshall and running to get in line for take off. He said boat is totaled but could use it. Can only run 50 mph. Funny thing is I believe he is leading the tournament after today. I've known and fished with mark for years and I can tell you he is very safe on the water. Unfortunately accidents happen no matter how safe you are and I'm just thankful they are both ok.

Checked on Lake elevation 6/22/11 and it was - 6'-4" below Summer pool . . if Mark was depending on GPS to navigate and looking at pictures of this long flat . . that would spell disaster for any person relying on GPS!
This is just my findings and personal opinion . . only Mark can tell us what happened.
I know he is a good angler and good ambassador for the sport of bass fishing; but has had some bad luck and mishaps of late . . he certainly does not deserve this!

Like someone said on another thread, " I resemble that".
And yes, there are strings attached....just try to log in and see what personal information they request/'require...starting with your name and email address....

Also, has FaceBook ever been hacked into, I'm a thinking ...yep!

I spend time on facebook everyday and never had any problems, nor have I known of any. You had to give an e-mail address for this site and most sites request a name and e-mail address.

In addition, it was published on Mark's personal facebook page, and the poster just posted a link to it. The poster didn't put it on facebook, Mark Menedez did and I doubt he is going to go out of his way to come here and report about it to the select few here.

I have been in the boat several times with Mark and he is very safe, accidents can happen to the most experienced drivers. He rebounded and currently sits in second place, behind legendary Stacey King.

Let me think of others that have been "hacked":
NEW YORK (AP) - Major banks and credit-card issuers Capital One, Barclays Bank, U.S. Bancorp and Citigroup have joined the list of companies warning customers that hackers may have learned their email addresses.

The hackers also gained access to the email addresses of customers of JPMorgan Chase & Co., Best Buy Co., TiVo Inc., Walgreen Co. and Kroger Co.

    Link to above: http://www2.wsav.com/news/2011/apr/0...en-ar-1670580/

This is one "for instance", Hacking happens everywhere!!
