Water is 11 foot over summer pool, its still very fishable, just watch for debris. I havn't caught any hybrids in the jumps yet this year, but have caught some casting a strike king lipless crank, but any type of rattle trap usually works for them. I have also heard of some people catching them on swimbaits. As for the largemouth, I would try some sort of senko or shakey head work, in either pumpkin or purple. Crank baits along ledges could also be productive, try throwing ones that run about 7 or 8 foot deep. Good luck to you.Anyone have any kind of report for Rough River? If you wake up and read this we have some bad weather headed our way, Be on you'r toes. Try fishing at the southern part of the lake like fox cliff clifty creek and indian valley. if you have a fish finder the loop can be a good spot from time to time.
If it pours down rain head to the dam.

I'm watching this storm cell . http://www.intellicast.com/Local/WxM...SmoothPaletteA Yesterday it was up in Omaha Nebraska and the whole thing was spinning like a hurricane, ( compleat with tornados and hail) I watch it until about 4 this morning and went to bed. It seem the lack of sun light calm it down but now it is starting to twist again as the sun gets higher and hotter. We have some rain moving through right now and this could make for a very bad day if the sun comes out after this first rain all I can say is be ready I really think we will have an out break of tornados but if it stays cloudy it won't be so bad either way we are going to get a whole bunch of rain if it continues on this coarse..We need more rain
Sorry for the thred hijack rickyo feel free to do it to me anytime.
Have to guess that its going to be tough going out there with the rain today. I would stick towards the main lake areas if there is too much rain, as I think the creeks usually get pretty stirred up with heavy rainfall. Hope you catch some fish, and be safe out there.
I just came from Nolin left at the sound of thunder.
looks like it blew out and now it's shrinking and turning more south but it is just 12 EST and the good stuff don't happen until after 4 so keep an eye to the sky. On a positive note the moon phase is getting ready to switch so the jet stream will go more north and we should see a lot less rain and storms for a while. Here is the thing that bothers me ! Why doesn't it just rain any more? I mean just a good old fashion rain shower no thunder lightning heavy winds tornados just rain????
I'm hoping the weather will be nice this weekend so I can get some fishing in... as long as the recreational boaters aren't being too crazy.
