Were you fishing 4 to 10 feet deep or in 4 to 10 foot of water, but just a few inches deep? I just started with this lake fishing (as opposed to pond or stream) and I am trying to figure out how to do it.

We were able to find some of the nice, big males today down there. They weren't that concentrated, it took a bit of hunting. I guess we weren't on the right type of rock. We caught them on Bluegill Bugs tipped with a cricket. I am going to take my mom back tomorrow, she would like to catch some of those hard pulling dudes.

Still out of gas. Ha. Can we laugh about that yet? I've been playing golf more than fishing. Two days in a row down at Nolin this week has got me plum wore out. How are ya?

Doing alright I guess, I hear ya on the gas, lol. I've fished less this year than any year ever in my life and thats not an exaggeration at all. Plus Cumberland my favorite lake almost isn't worth fishing anymore....
