the head is always the best part and then the mid section if its 6 in i cut it into 3 or 4 pieces but i use all of the bluegill even the tail. but my favorite for big cats is a 3 or four in live bluegill hook it right in front of the tail towards the back throw a sinker on and let it flop around on the bottom big cats cant resist fish in distress.i like using big hooks but if you get an assorted paskage of eagle claw hooks at walmart that come with the leder atached you want to use the biggest ones in the package or i use 10/0 heavy hooks by eagle claw stay awy from the bronze if your going after 20lb plus cats. the good thing about cut bait is it dosnt get pecked off like worms and liver good luck let me know if you want to take someone with u to that honey hole lol
