If your better half wants you to go to Pigion Forge for several days, but says you can take you boat and we can stay in a cabin near Douglas or Cherokee and you can fish while I go into town, Which one do you choose? Please do not say town.![]()

Fly fish in Gatlinburg or Seiverville, those streams are full of trout!
Well if it was my wife and she said that to me it is her nice way of saying you are going to leave the boat home and WE are going to some thing that I what to do if you know whats good for you. Thats what I would take it as but your wife might be different. Good luck and I hope you make the right one. Or I hope the dog house has a TV LOL
You go fishing and your wife can go to Cherokee and spend all your money at the slot machines. Everyone's happy.
Go to Pigeon Forge without the boat and enjoy the long weekend. Too many on the lakes to make it worth the hassle.
I like sweetwaters avatar
The smallmouth are biting on cherokee right now. Channel banks and main lake points with finnesse jigs and shaky heads, 15-25 feet. I'd take the boat and go to Cherokee Lake it if were me!
The idea of driving through Pigion Forge on a long weekend in anything makes me shiver with horror. Towing a boat? No thanks. I'd google stream fishing in the area. It's cooler around those streams as well and it's something different. But, there is no wrong answer here, only a right one that fits you and yours..
Thanks to all, forgot all about that back door nice thing. Must choose wisely. I got a big dog, not much room in his house.![]()
Go to Cherokee! I have a friend that has a house on that lake! Nice SmallJaws in there!!!
If u want to go to Cherokee again down the line, u better go to pigeon forge this weekend.....just saying
