For a change of pace try using the biggest gizzard shad from the head of the creek's or large Bluegill's, 6inch plus creek chub's etc. for some nice size FlatHeads and "KEEPER SIZE" stripers in 30 to 50 ft. water. Do not use small shiners, alewives etc. at this time of year.
Yes, I do pop tops at 2-3. That's why I'm off the lake as I suggested by noon, showered, and in the tank top and flip flops.
Brews, big lunch and nappy poo in the afternoon, get me ready to "ROCK", when its later than "5 o'clock somehwere".
Don't fish late much anymore, cause pizza, brews, and Makers Mark on the deck overlooking the lake beats the heck out of fog, dampness, mosquitos, and drunks on the lake.
So to be sure you are safe always, be careful on the terraces and outside hallways at the Jamestown Marina Motel at night. Don't get run over by some flip flop, tank top, Makers Mark Moron (WOW I just became 3M)trying to win the bet that he can get ice for the cooler and be back in 45 seconds.
