I've always been happy with bps mono fluorescent however my new favorite line is Strens fluorescent flourocarbon. A lil pricey...... Hopefully they will make bulk spools available soon.

Stren
Pline cxx.
If you're fishing at night just go with BPS excel 20lb. You shouldn't have any problem with breakage and its cheap.
It was initially recommeneded to me by the fellow that runs the Pro-Bass in Bronston....I bought two spools there, liked it and ordered more from BPS. Dissapears just llike any other flouro for day fishing so no need to have day/night setups.http://www.basspro.com/Stren-100&37;...04491/-1638414
Berkley just came out with uni filament line. It is Cale nano fil and it us supposedly asstong as steel. It's a new generation in fishing line and is supposed to be the best.
BPS Excel used to be some pretty good line, but I think it may now be manufactured "overseas" (???) ... and the quality isn't as good (at least that's what I've been hearing). Some other line mfgs have done the same, and usually with the same results.
I use Sufix & Mr Crappie Super Hi-vis, for my fluorescent monos. (but then I'm Crappie fishing mostly ... LOL !! )
... pappy
Right now I'm using Berkley Big Game. Decent line and priced right. The best mono I've had was the Sufix Tritanium Plus (which sadly I can't find anymore), was soft and limp but would hold a bulldozer. If you can find some get it while you can.
After repeatedly breaking 20 Lb. BPS Excel I switched to Suffix Elite 20 Lb. & no problems what so ever.
big game is the best for your money, but i use stren also, but it is bigger in dia
1 thing to remember, make sure to keep your line in a cool dark area, it will go bad if exposed to high heat or or light
