    Elkhorn creek

    I have a bps pond prowler 9'.Do you think I could fish elkhorn with it and where could I put in?

    That boat would work well on the North Fork in Georgetown, but I don't think it would do well on the main creek. You can put in at Great Crossing, Cardome (US 25 North), and on 460 near K-Mart--all three of these places is a city park with a ramp.

    Awesome!! Go early, throw heddon topwater torpedo at the bank. Then go to rebel craw or other crank bait. Love that river!!!

    My experience is that there aren't as many smallmouths in this part of the creek as in the main stem, but you never know.
