Elkhorn Creek by Stamping Ground

I have been interested in going to Elkhorn Creek and I would like to go below the dam there at Stamping Ground off 627 I think. How far down stream to the nearest ramp? How deep is the water there and more importantly how is the fishing through that section?

627? If its 227 your talking about thts great crossing below that dam its not deep at all and i dont know where the nearest ramp below is about that **** its 12-10ft
