Fished Patoka over the past weekend. Lots of pleasure boaters, but the arms and creeks weren't all that bad to fish. Crappie bite is still on, but not as good as it's been with the water temps lower. Crappie size is still typical of Patoka. A few nice fish, but for the most part smaller size fish in the 8" - 9" range. Got temp readings around 85 for an average. Largemouth seemed to be a little more active. The best bite was in grassy areas, however stumps produced somewhat as we had bluebird skies. Caught several largemouth with a few keepers in the mouth of Patoka River and toward the Osborn Ramp. Also, caught a nice keeper in the South Lick Fork area. Favorite lure color seemed to be anything that had chartreuse in it. Mostly grub type worms, but deep diving cranks did fair.
