Green River Help

Taking the wife to Green River to go pleasure boat riding with friendsin the morning. I am taking the boat and fishing. I have never been on the lake before. Any suggestions on where to go and what to use? Not looking for honey holes, just general suggestions. Where can I buy a good map of the lake? Thanks for the help.

Columbia Walmart should have hot spot maps and so does Green river bait. What are you fishing for? I might be able to help you out.

Thanks for the help mtn lures. Where is Green River Bait. I am coming thru Campbellsville. May hit the Walmart there. I will mainly be fishing for bass. Might try for crappie or muskie. Will be putting in at Holmes Bend.

Green river bait is only a few miles from Holmes bend. There are signs off of Holmes bend rd. If you are coming from HWY 55 you would make a right off of Holmes bend Rd. it is about a mile. There is a sign.I can not think of the name of the road. Bass fishing has been good in the evenings and at night. Not sure about the mornings. Throw soft plastics around some rock close to the channel. They should be moving a little deeper. There has been some good bags that have come shallow also. You can not go wrong fishing some tapering points. Good luck
